NCTA Technology and Maintenance Council Meeting
Topic: Level One Inspection & PDI Training
Level 1 Inspection with Trooper Charles Bridges
Location: Cargo Transporters Date: Thursday, February 20 Time: 6pm - 8pm
This meeting will be a 2 part event:
Part 1: Level 1 Inspection
An NC State Highway Patrol will perform a Level 1 Inspection. This is the most thorough inspection because the officer looks at the entire vehicle (tractor and trailer) for worn-out or damaged parts. They examine the braking system, lighting, tires, battery, securement of cargo, and more. The officer also will talk with the driver and check for signs of alcohol and drug consumption, seat belt use and proper documentation. If violations are found, the officer can place the CMV out of service (OOS).
Part 2: Pre-Delivery Inspection Training
NCTA Member Cost: $25.00 meal included
Non-Member Cost: $40.00 meal included

-If you cancel more than 48 hours before the meeting, fees will be refunded.
-If you cancel within 48 hours of the meeting, no fees will be refunded.
-No shows are responsible for 100% of the meeting fees.
