NCTA's Greater Eastern North Carolina  Area Members Call on Raleigh program is our opportunity to meet directly with our North Carolina Representatives from the Eastern North Carolina area to discuss legislation and regulations affecting the trucking industry. 

Why should I go?

No one knows our industry like we do! Our State Leaders need to hear first-hand from business owners and executives about our concerns.

What is involved in the Call on Raleigh visits?

NCTA will arrange all the appointments, provide briefing materials and hold a briefing session at NCTA office before we meet with our State Legislators and staff.  

Register for the Call on Raleigh by Friday, June 9, 2023

Schedule:

9:00am: Meet at NCTA offices in Downtown Raleigh for orientation and briefing
9:30am: Walk over to the NC General Assembly
10:00am-12:00pm: Meetings with Senators and Representatives.  Meetings will be with Local Delegations and Transportation Leaders.  The legislative schedule is fluid, so this may involve simply stopping by offices to catch members.
12:00pm-1:00pm - Optional Lunch at the General Assembly Cafeteria

Must be a current member of the NCTA to participate.
