Call on Washington
November 17-18, 2026

NCTA's Call on Washington program is our opportunity to meet directly with Members of Congress, key congressional staff, fellow industry leaders and ATA staff to discuss legislation and regulations affecting the trucking industry. 

Why should I go?

No one knows our industry like we do! Members of Congress need to hear first-hand from business owners and executives about our concerns. 

What does it cost?

Participants pay their own travel and hotel costs and meals.

What is involved in the Congressional visits?

We arrange all the appointments, provide briefing materials and hold a briefing session at American Trucking Association Hill office before we meet with Members of Congress and staff. We make it easy to get to and from Capitol Hill and other venues and we try to make the most efficient use of your time.

Tuesday, November 17th

• Travel to DC
• 3:00pm - 5:30pm Briefing and Reception at ATA HQ Office (80 M St. SE Suite 800, Washington, DC 20003)
• Evening - Group Dinner

Wednesday, November 18th

• 8:00am Breakfast at ATA Hill Office (430 First St. SE Washington, DC 20003)
• ATA Lobbyist Lead Meetings with the NC Delegation
• 5:00pm - 6:00pm Reception/Debrief at ATA Hill Office (430 First St. SE Washington, DC 20003)

Thursday, November 19th 

• Departures Home to NC
