2020 NC Top Tech Challenge and Sponsorship Opportunities

The NC Top Tech Challenge is a state competition that offers technicians the opportunity to show off their skills, gives them the opportunity to represent their company, meet like-minded professionals in their field and offers our fleets, dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors the opportunity to build relationships with one another.
The first day of the event consist of a written test, followed by the completion of a series of individual skills stations. The second day of the event will be a rotating technician training fair, and conclude with a banquet and award ceremony on Saturday afternoon. Each technician receives one banquet ticket with their registration; additional tickets for spouses, family or company representatives may be purchased. Everyone attending the banquet must have a ticket.
First place winners will represent North Carolina in the National Technician Skills Competition (TMC SuperTech) in Raleigh, NC on September 13-17, 2020.
Students at a North Carolina Community College are free.
Eligibility: Contestants must reside in the state of North Carolina and be employed by a member of the North Carolina Trucking Association or be enrolled as a student at a state sponsored college or university that has a transportation program.
**Registration Deadline is April 15, 2020**
Attire: Each contestant must wear appropriate long pants and work shoes meeting industry safety standards. Official contestant shirts will be given out at check-in and must be worn during the competition. Other safety related items such as safety glasses and any needed tools, manuals and equipment will be provided as needed by each individual station.
Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of each track; truck and trailer. 1st place winners also win an all-expense paid trip to the 2020 TMC SuperTech competition in Raleigh, NC.
